Oil on linen, painted from plein air beach studies and in-studio model. This painting was a response to the chaos and pain of pandemic life, an attempt to find peace, and ultimately illustrating solace sought in the waves of Lake Superior, the pages of good books, and the comfort of a hot cup of tea.
