Midsummer morning light

I love walking through our woods and capturing the light dancing across the trees. Vine charcoal is my favorite medium to paint with...it feels like an extension of my body as I gently bring the image to life. The delicate nature of the charcoal mimics the ephemeral dance of light, time, and seasons as a reminder that change brings new growth.
