Life in Abandoned Places #4

I was asked to exhibit my paintings in a group show in a lingerie factory that has been abandoned since 20 years.
When I visited the site I was charmed by the vegetation that had taken over some parts of the building. Since the plant will be taken down to make place for housing units later this year, I decided to document its current state in a couple of paintings and I will show them on site as a last tribute to this industrial legacy.
I visited the site several times to get the best possible light for the scene. I made a lot of photos, and at the same time I already experimented with the best possible compositions for my paintings.
