"Summer Morning" is a watercolor on paper plein air painting with just a few minor touches in the studio. It depicts a morning walk through open fields. The small figures near the horizon have been out for a stroll with their dog and are just returning home. This farm is near my home in Colorado and I love to go there for a casual brief hike or an invigorating run on the open-space trail. I never fail to be inspired and uplifted by the natural beauty.
