I started painting during Covid as a way to spread love to people who needed to be lifted up. This painting is inspired by a photograph of my friend Katie, walking in the woods in Maine in 1981 with her mother. Her mother passed away far too soon, so this painting had special sentimental value to her and her father. Presented as a gift to her.
