Oil painting from photo taken on the beach in Dauphin Island, Alabama. My four teenage granddaughters and I had been plein air painting in water color but the light had gotten too dim to continue. The sunset was incredible so I snapped a couple of shots with my cell phone. This painting was inspired by one of those photos.
