My drawing Queen Elizabeth I - A Figure of Feminism in Monarchy was my first artist-based piece. Regarding my feminist values, women’s history is an interest of mine. Therefore, I decided to draw Queen Elizabeth I since she is one of the most famous monarchs throughout history, symbolizing women's empowerment and accomplishments. Overall, my work is a comment on societal behaviors and the development of feminism. Simultaneously, it is also an image of respect and appreciation for Queen Elizabeth’s history and women’s accomplishments and empowerment.
