Echo Park Lake, Los Angeles. Oil on wood panel. Inspired by impressionism and the style of Monet. Being a inner-city kid access to nature and parks is very limited. When I moved into Downtown Los Angeles Echo Park become one of the few places I found community and nature. It's a quiet place in a chaotic city. When I stare into the lake I find medidation in the reflection of the city and palm trees.
