In 2017 we experience a super bloom in Southern California.
In the tradition of impressionism, I seek to document ephemeral moments. Painted in Antelope Poppy Reserve in Lancaster I never experience an explosion and saturation of orange. I don't believe there is a pigment invented that could ever reproduce the brilliance I witness.
