Olympic Liquor

“Olympic Liquor” (oil on canvas) is a record of my community. This store represents the landmarks we grow up with in Latino neighborhoods. This small store in Montebello was iconic to me in my childhood and remains so to those in the neighborhood. These small businesses become literal and figurative cultural landmarks.
