Guardian of the Running Path

NFS A 20 20 Covid lock down painting. The sun is setting over another lonely day in my neighbourhood - sundown marked the curfew hour. During covid lock down left the jogging paths, and parks, and play grounds echoed with only the memory of runners getting each other as they worked, out, families talking over picnics, and children laughing as they played. This old sedate Acacia stood guard at the turn in the path that marked the turn from the green shady playground to a long stretch of open desert.
