Lemon Glow

Lemons in my studio still life set up came to be larger than life in this format. The deep dive into yellow was certainly a cheerful part of my early experience in covid lockdown. I have experimented further with this format in capturing the beautiful color found in painting any object from life and taking the time to observe carefully. I have learned so much from plein air painting for nearly 10 years and needed to paint living things during the time indoors.
