Gather Round

Painted during the universal isolation period of last year. While I was mostly attracted to the composition and light patterns, I have found this painting inspires different reactions from viewers - some see it as empty chairs waiting for family to gather, some see it as an invitation, some focus on the light, the vessel. It interests me what others see in my work.
